Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 20, 2026

Overview

Metricalytics ("we", "us") operates https://metricalytics.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you under laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

Information We Collect

Calculator inputs. Our calculators run entirely in your browser. We do not require account creation and do not store the numbers you enter on our servers. No calculator input is ever sent to a server.

Essential browser storage. With your browser's permission, we store theme preference, currency selection, and saved dashboard scenarios in local storage on your device. This data stays on your device and is used only to provide core site functionality.

Analytics (optional). If you consent, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to collect usage data such as page views, referrers, and general device information. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies according to Google's policies.

Advertising (optional). If you consent and ads are enabled, Google AdSense and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Google may collect or receive information from your browser or device according to its own policies.

How We Use Information

  • Provide and operate the website and calculators
  • Remember your preferences and saved scenarios
  • Measure site performance and usage trends (with consent)
  • Display advertising (with consent, where enabled)
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect the service

Legal Bases (GDPR)

Where GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Consent for optional analytics and advertising cookies
  • Legitimate interests in operating a secure, functional website and understanding aggregate usage, balanced against your rights
  • Contract / service delivery for essential browser storage needed to provide features you request

Cookies & Similar Technologies

Essential storage (theme, currency, saved scenarios, consent preferences) is stored locally in your browser. Optional analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising may set third-party cookies when enabled and consented. You can manage your choices at any time using the control in the site footer.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA). We do not sell your personal information for money. Advertising partners may process information for cross-context behavioral advertising, which California law may treat as "sharing." You may opt out by rejecting advertising cookies in Privacy Choices, using the Google Ad Settings page, or enabling Global Privacy Control (GPC) in a supported browser. We honor GPC signals as an opt-out of sale/share for advertising purposes.

EEA/UK residents (GDPR). You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. You also have the right to data portability for information you provide to us, though most data on this site remains in your browser unless you contact us.

To exercise your rights, email hello@metricalytics.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We will verify and respond within the time required by applicable law.

Data Retention

Consent preferences are stored locally until you clear them or change your choices. Saved scenarios remain in your browser until you delete them. Analytics data retained by Google and advertising data retained by Google AdSense are governed by their respective policies.

International Transfers

We use service providers that may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses offered by those providers.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Third-Party Services

We use Google Analytics for (where enabled and consented) usage measurement, and Google AdSense for (where enabled and consented) advertising. Each service has its own privacy policy governing data they collect independently of this site:

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
